Welcome to the first edition of something we like to call So You’ve Got A Cardboard Box… where we bring you projects using, you guessed it, a cardboard box (disclaimer: occasionally you may actually need more than one box and some craft supplies if we’re feeling fancy). Our first project is a nice small one, Mer Mag’s Interlocking Cardboard Castle. The genius of this project is that it’s decorated with bright duct tape which makes the colors really pop but also makes the whole thing more sturdy. Mer Mag has tips on how to cut out your duct tape pieces properly so you don’t end up with a sticky ball of tape and no castle. Her template is made to scale with Playmobil people but could adjust the size as much as you’d like. Visit Mer Mag for the printable template and instructions.
